The lawn is so wet that the grass slides away as you tread on it.
This is in Cornwall, where it rains a lot. 1082mm of rain so far this year (plus where the station had faults). That is more than 2021 and just 200mm shy of 2022 with a month and a half to go.
Mean temps up 0.2C on the last two years.
