My name is 'The Tabby'. I was a feral cat, terror of the village, before retiring in 2010 to live with my hooman friend, who's @euroscanner.net on BlueSky. I died of kidney failure and complications on 21st November 2022.

My hooman, who looked after me for 15 of my nearly 18 years can be found at @euroscanner

Well, my extremely battered 19yo retired feral cat (who owns this account) managed to fall off a chair and dislocate or break his hip. He's in a dark corner staring at the wall. It may not end well for him. Trip to vet in a short while to see what's going on. If he goes, so does this account.

A spider hiding behind a leaf. Luckily for me, the leaf was against the bathroom window so I can see it in detail, just the end of one leg extended out from the leaf as a sensor.

Since we're all showing off our cats, I have four. All originally feral. Three of them are kidney cats and in their late teens and one is still only 12 (and I have his dad too, who was thrown out of a car as they drove past my village and lived under a hedge for 3 years as he healed before deciding to move in one winter). I also have a dog and a lot of wildlife sharing my house and outbuildings, including rather a lot of bats.

Foxy thinking hard before crossing the stream. Maaaan, that water's cold! In the video, I can see another pair of eyes in the background, so there's two of them. This is about 200m downstream from the house.
