A group of German journalism students investigated the drone sightings over military installations in Western Europe and in one instance tracked it back to three commercial vessels belonging to Russian services. The cargo ships involved are the "Lauga", "HAV Dolphin" and "HAV Snapper". The vessels were caught with drones circling over them and showing most unusual movements.

The Czech President #Pavel made an unexpected visit to the Ukrainian city of #Odessa today.
He discussed developments on the battlefield, support and reconstruction.

All options are open today - Syria as a state broken into factions that will fight among themselves to varying degrees. Syria as a federation of #Shiite coastal areas, #Sunni center and #Kurdish north...
Or a unified Syria led by a #democratic #secular government that will be based on respect for human rights and peace treaties with neighbors (#Israel).
One thing is certain, Syria will change.

Their commander #Golani is trying to keep his "image" under control, but it is hard to imagine that he would, eg., sign a peace agreement with #Israel as future president (maybe?) and thus bring peace and stability to the regions...
The other forces in the north and east are the fairly autonomous #SDF (the American-backed opposition in the Kurdish areas). The question of autonomy, independence, or inclusion of the #Kurds will certainly be areas of friction in the future in Syria...

Although they (#HTS) have acted very pragmatically in recent years and, compared to others, relatively liberally and non-violently, with (among #Islamists) unusual tolerance of minorities, and as experienced mercenaries, they are better allies than enemies for the entire opposition.
