Before: open a spreadsheet, make a column a vlookup, filter, done
Now: write a prompt for copilot to generate the spreadsheet. Rewrite the prompt, rewrite one more time, finally a spreadsheet. Review spreadsheet, ask copilot why some columns are missing, new spreadsheet, review carefully, some numbers don't seem right, rewrite the prompt one more time. Give up, do it yourself, but tell your boss how much more productive you are so you don't get let go for not using AI.

Generative LLMs are a specific technology. You can integrate them with other data sources and technologies to make them 'agentic' if you like.
OCR and image recognition algorithms are a specific technology.
Predictive analytics is a whole field of technology and mathematics.
None of these are magic. There are textbooks on several of them.
The term AI should be retired in serious discussions.
