Re-reading this work by Walter Rodney in preparation for something I'm writing on racial capitalism and the environment. Wow - he does a fantastic job illustrating how racialized class structures and ecological systems are mutually embedded and interlocking across the micro, meso, and macro levels. #racialcapitalism #walterrodney
Got the great news that my new course “Sociology of Climate Change” was approved. To my knowledge, this will be the only social science course at my uni focusing on climate change.
