Profile image description: a racoon is tightly hugging a brown teddy bear

I am disabled, transmasc, and queer zine-maker who is an oboist and a music student by day. I’m very passionate about accessibility (especially in music)!

I love to read as well, especially fantasy! I have an enthusiasm for anything with trans and queer characters!

other interests include bookbinding, punk d.i.y., bikes, transit, herbs/gardening, birding (especially birds of prey), and a bunch of other random things!

I wrote this minizine a couple days after a break-up where my now-ex said “Don’t worry, you’ll be alright you are very cool and sexy”. This minizine was meant to be a reminder to myself of all of the ways that I am cool and sexy even during a time when I was still grieving the end of a relationship and feeling a little lost. Anyways, this is actually pretty lighthearted zine and I hope you enjoy it!

(P.S. still pretty new to writing alt text for comic style things and I am always open to critiques on how I write it ❤️)

Here is my birdwatching minizine!! I love birds so much!!

p.s. I am newer to writing image descriptions for comic-style things, so if anyone has any resources or critiques on my ID for this, I would really appreciate it!!

My first zine festival went so incredibly welll! I’ve been making zines for about a year, but I never really distributed them, so my secret goal was to make at least one trade (which was extremely terrifying in my head)… I was met with so much enthusiasm and kindness that my one trade turned into many many more :’)

Everyone’s art was so unique and niche about their own lives, but it felt like I had found a wonderfully accepting community who was so passionate about the wonders of DIY!! We were unified through zines and connected through our shared niches and interests. Most of us were all a lil awkward but it was magic because it felt like being awkward was the norm here ❤️

This festival was 4 hours away from where I live and I am plotting how to keep cultivating and growing the zine community in my local area now!! Feeling very inspired and excited about it all.

Maybe it is PMS & hormones but I am just now learning about all of the different types of robins and I am tearing up over the existence of Siberian Blue Robins!! Birds are just so cool and wonderful ❤️❤️

Amazing how almost 30 years later and this comic still is relevant to trans culture (shoutout all the cat trans people out there)

Went to pick up a banjo from someone who no longer wanted it and befriended the cutest cat on the way!

having a teddy bear is cool.
