I am disabled, transmasc, and queer zine-maker who is an oboist and a music student by day. I’m very passionate about accessibility (especially in music)!

I love to read as well, especially fantasy! I have an enthusiasm for anything with trans and queer characters!

other interests include bookbinding, punk d.i.y., bikes, transit, herbs/gardening, birding (especially birds of prey), and a bunch of other random things!

been super busy and let myself to get addicted to the Bad Place (instagram) again. I hope all of you are doing okay ❤️❤️

Hello #birding folks! Any advice on how to figure out what the migration schedule of all the birds in your area is? Are there guidebooks with this type of info? Super excited for spring but I have no idea what new friends are coming!! I am based in the Midwest

update on this!! they actually emailed me to get my number and stuff 😳 I played the long game so long that I didn’t even have to do any of the work
also absolutely so obsessed with the new #LanaDelRey album (especially “Margaret”).. okay gn everyone
holy crap the new #FallOutBoy album is so good????
I am in a polyamorous relationship with my oboe and my banjo.. except it is hierarchical and the oboe is definitely at the bottom 🫣
there is this person in my classes who I have been trying to befriend since August but IDK how to go from saying hello in class to actually being friends… does anyone know what the Rules are for this 🧍. I think I am having an #autism moment rn with this (would giving them my “cool and sexy” minizine with my phone number on it be weird???? how do I do that???)

this is truly a “woe is me” moment because I was accepted into ANOTHER research grant for a different proposal (about music education and disability) that I have already commited to spending 40 hrs a week for 10 weeks this summer. It is wonderful that I was approved for not one, but two separate grants about disability. Unfortunately, my fun and quirky thing about being disabled is that I do not have the type of capacity to do two research projects at once 🫡

I am going to try to see if I can like waive the approved grant and potentially reapply for it with a different project in the future? The timing is not right and I am so stressed out!!
