I love zines and I love our Baltimore zinefest. I love that I am seeing other cities also have similar events!

I think it would be kind of fun to maybe try to arrange some sort of thing where we can mail some local zines out to other zinefests and have them mail local zines back to us for distro.

Just like a good random mix.

Would anyone be interested in this? It would require some PO boxes for everyone's privacy, but that could be arranged I bet.

Apart from the glow-in-the-dark mini paintings in my previous post, I've been experimenting with new thematic bundles or starter kits. They contain zines, postcards, buttons, and stickers. I’m thinking about tabling St. Pete #ZineFest in #Florida in February. I would like to have something new made by then, even a short little quarter-sized zine, but I have no idea what it would be about. I could also table the queer youth #zines I’ve facilitated and donate the money back to the org. But it would be nice to make a small, back-to-basics, b&w, cut & paste thing to share with people. When making zines was more of my main thing, I never had a lack of inspiration. Now my creative energy goes into a different area of my life.
