I've taken the battery out of our carbon monoxide detector.
The constant beeping made me feel sick, dizzy and was giving me a headache.
So toll der #37c3 auch ist, aber benutzerfreundlich ist die Streaming-Webseite auch dieses Jahr leider gar nicht. Verbesserungsvorschläge:
1. das Popup nicht durch einen Hover anzeigen (oder wenigstens verzögern), sondern einen Button nutzen. Das Popup legt sich immer an die unmöglichsten Stellen und man bekommt es teilweise gar nicht weggeklickt
2. den Fahrplan während des Streamings auch am Desktop
draggable machen.

3 weeks ago I went full Linux on my PC. Linux Desktop really came a long way and I can see it as my main system for the coming years.
But because of #gamedev I unfortunaly had to reinstall Windows 10 today on a spare drive. #Unity is just a mess on my 1440p monitor, I can't read sh*t. For a smaller project I'm also using #Gamemaker and I really don't fell confident using a beta, although I hadn't much trouble there.
And before you ask: Sorry, #godotengine currently is not an option.
One of biggest struggles I have with #GameMaker is UI. I tried many extensions but they never fit my needs. In the end they are overengineered and/or need too much additional work to fit my own projects.
Currently I'm cleaning up one of my older games and accidentally wrote the menu system I always wanted. 😍 #gamedev
So, basic gameloop is done. But what now...? 🤔
Basic movement is done!
You control a spaceship which moves in one direction until it hits something. Goal will be to reach a space station. I like the idea, but currently it feels too much like Chu Chu Rocket. I need to change that. We'll see tomorrow. Now off to bed!
