New badge by Marci. Haven't gotten one in near ten years. Wanted to get a second for a reverse of the first one.
Time to play some Dance Dance Revolution.

Had a great two nights' stay in Philadelphia. The hotel, Sonder the Arco, was situated right in the middle of the gayborhood and has completely contactless check-in and entry, which was perfect for just coming in exhausted and not needing to deal with anyone. The rooms even come with a power strip and HDMI cable. Highly recommended.
Being back here and breathing the Philadelphia air was pretty interesting, since I've lived here more than ten years but have only been away for a few months. We had Pat's cheesesteak for dinner and Sky Cafe indonesian food for lunch, did bowling at Round One, and had a blast at the U Bar and Woody's near the hotel. It's such a nice feeling to run around having adventures, and then come back to a safe place and completely collapse and let your body heal.
Now we're chilling at a cafe killing time until our flight. We're both looking forward to being in our cozy little flat again, though Kailey has a lot of college work to do. One of my priorities is to get a printer and laminator, and start making weekly schedules and hanging up stuff to increase the kiddy vibe. I also want to get a bicycle and start exploring the Clydebank area more, just getting out and finding cool spots.
Heading back to Scotland after a long holiday month!
I have no clue what I'll use this account for but I'm hoping to become more active in this transition between social media platforms. I was never terribly active on my Twitter or AD account, mostly retweets and occasionally engaging in discourse or throwing in a useful tip or opinion. I'm certainly not aware of any reputation outside the people I personally talk to, because I've always tended to keep my identity small. Now I'm heading into a whole new chapter of life, almost like I'm starting fresh with every opportunity open to me.
Until now I've kept nearly all of my long-form thoughts in private journals, for therapeutic or recording purposes. I don't think broadcasting my thoughts has ever been productive or mentally healthy. But outside of my little chatrooms, I think it's okay to allow the larger babyfur sphere to see how my life is going on, and maintain a more persistent online presence while I build up my IRL situation. I still have like 300 followers on Twitter, so it's not like I'm invisible, and I have a fair pile of people I care about deeply.
I will try to boost only things that I have a personal reaction to, instead of like "this meme was especially funny" or "this babyfur art was exceptionally cute". It'll be a bit of a challenge for me to actually put in some effort instead of reaching for the easiest method of engaging with Big Content.
