Great to see that someone's paying attention to Infrastructure Australia’s infrastructure priority list--- building the cycling items on this would be a game changer for health, traffic congestion, and climate emissions in our capital cities.
They call out false solutions: "for example, telling people to ride to work, while not providing them a safe place to do so, doesn’t make sense".

It's a wonderful time capsule from the 1980s when the City Loop was built that's almost unchanged in nearly 50 years.

@ThermiteBeGiants I worked on that steelworks for my first graduate placement! Our office was a grubby little portacabin immediately adjacent to the tracks, that shook to the heavens every time a train of ingots trundled past. That town just IS the steelworks, through and through
