Baking bread is my jam. Pictures of trees make me happy. No single one is the same.

Unusual past job: Dancing parade character at (then) EuroDisney. She/Her. Ally to πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ friends.

Favorite Mastadon thing: Learning from enthusiasts on topics I didn't know about before. This is fun!

@The_Tim I love this! Maya would be fabulous at the balance beam.
Maya apparently thinks that the narrow curb between the wood chips and the grass at the park is a sidewalk that she needs to stay on. #dogsofmastodon
@oh_that_courtney Your πŸ• is beautiful! Hand stretching pizza dough with no holes and a nice rouded shape is an accomplishment! Mine usually end up in "unique" (euphemism) shapes that turn into Rorschach tests for my dinner guests. Well done!

I'm pushing my and others' music today in particular b/c it's #BandcampFriday again, where #Bandcamp waives their 15% cut of musician's sales so we get a little bit more πŸ’΅ support directly from all YOU lovely cool hip people who buy our tracks!

If you love #music, please find some of your favorite indie artists on Bandcamp and give them some πŸ’Έ support!

For as little as $1 you can make an artist's day and give them dopamine.   #NewMusic

@dirtyoldtown Diner Double Dipping is my new favorite term for this. The worst is when my pups collaborate and beg so hard they make me question whether I did, in fact, feed them.

I also agree with @DavidNielsen that this is a labrador thing. Mine are both labs.

@queenofnewyork Your post sent me down a rabbit hole of YouTube videos by Dr Geoff Lindsey. Thank you! I can't find him on Mastadon (yet). I so appreciate you shared this!

Fascinating! I love linguistics and how it’s got such a view on history and culture. And also is good for re-examining my biases.

Why do people say AKS (or AX) instead of ASK?

My kid wrote this 65-word story off the top of her head when she was nine, and it remains one of the greatest things in the universe.
@donni Random book recommendation after reading your bio: Squirrel on a Train by Kevin Hearne. A book told in the voice of an Irish wolfhound with serious Squirrel suspicions. Stay weird!
