I created a web UI yesterday to emulate a phone messenging app then last night was like, what if the phone was a 3D model and the web UI projected onto the screen of the model?? 3 hours of work this morning and damn it works! Quite happy with the result too! Used playcanvas to render the phone and blender to line up the UVs correctly then essentially html2canvas to save an image and refresh the texture for the 3d model's screen material.

Creative cute mushroom things: here’s the game jam I worked a coupla weeks ago with a rad group from work. It’s a cute farming game where you’re a lil mushroom and you collect seeds and plant trees for your friends. Was a fun project and we managed to get a lot done in s short amount of time. The lead artist created stellar work too! Also mushroom people are cool. #globalgamejam #gamedev #globalgamejam2023
