Episode 7 of Paradise was the most stressful thing I've ever watched.

I'm still working on the trailer but I have a feeling tomorrow's going to be busy so - the demo for Alliance Peacefighter is out - please do give it a go! Boosts appreciated.

#1 This absolutely delivers on being an interactive music video that you can run in the browser. The seamlessness of transporting you from one environment to another, showing you aspects of the spaces, and how it just transforms itself to the music is a breathtaking artistic marvel. You need to try this. It's online and free!

Tom Kurtz, who co-invented BASIC—probably the piece of software that has meant the most to me—has died at age 96. When it turned 50 ten years ago, I wrote a VERY long article about why it was so important, and I’m very grateful that he helped with it. RIP. https://time.com/69316/basic/

Remember when they said the Algorithm was going to show you the things you wanted to see?

Instead of showing me what it thinks I want, the Algorithm shows me what its owners wants me to buy, or the things that will influence me in the ways its owners want me to change.

The concept of the Algorithm is not inherently bad. They just gave us a different Algorithm to the one they talked about in public.
