The Climate Change Committee has modelled the likely impact of the war in the Middle East on energy prices & compared that to the costs to consumers of a full-tilt green transition towards net zero, and guess what:
the costs of shifting to net zero are a lot less than the costs of (continuing) disruptions to the supply of fossil fuels.
So, not only is a shift to renewables good for the environment, it also make sound geopolitical & economic sense!
Time to commit!!!
We went to see an exhibition of Beryl Cook at Plymouth Box yesterday. It was a pretty full retrospective of her work, and I enjoyed it tremendously. It's also free, and I'd recommend a visit to anyone who is in the area.
I've put an unusual example of her work in a reply to this post.
Utter humiliation.
The Bristol Patriots have had to turn around and walk back the way they came after the good people of Bristol blocked their planned route for over an hour.
The few Patriots present were moaning and whining that they can't get the numbers and blamed keyboard warriors.
Well done Bristol ๐๐
What a dope he is.
