Our local orchard has many fruit trees in blossom so we ran a work party followed by a hanami (which I believe is a japanese term for tea ceremony to appreciate the transient beauty of blossom trees).
It was a lovely afternoon improving our community.

I went to John Wesley's New Room in Bristol this week, the first Methodist church. Even if you have no connection to Methodism its museum exhibit is a really good route into understanding England in the 1700s including levels of deprivation, the trans atlantic slave trade, social class and social attitudes. #Bristol

Lots of friends racing various distances today, but I opted for a bluebell hunt (not a very tricky hunt - I knew where they were and they tend not to move about a lot). A nice easy 10 miles out along the harbourside before it go too busy, then into Ashton Court for bluebellapaloozq and back along the chocolate path. 46.27 miles (74.48km) for the week. #RunnersOfMastodon #Bristol #running
