@nlmunro @openrightsgroup Having an ID card as an identifier is not the big issue, it's how it's a digital-only "card" system.
There are no guarantees that your access to your own ID will not get revoked or things changed without your knowledge.

The current UK eVisa system is digital-only and causes massive frustration as I personally had to miss a flight at my expense due to a system error.

Also, govt wants to outsource this, so they won't even have sovereignity over their own population.

@randahl Very possible.

Maybe think of it as a fatigue issue? My audio processor overheated and fed my brain bad signals 😅

@randahl Sure, thanks for engaging.

Bose QC35 over Bluetooth. I think using AAC codec. And this would be the 4'th set of pads on them.

They are reasonably clear, but I mostly use them because they have excellent noise cancelling and are comfortable.

I was wondering on how to clean audio for talking videos, but as an amateur I can only think of either near-field microphones (which might be expensive) or post-processing (which might be time consuming).

I'm probably overthinking it.

@randahl Notebook with over-ear headphones. I suspect if it was a worse clarity system I wouldn't have noticed it so much.

I tend to find crinkly things quite overpowering which probably made it worse.

Are people’s bosses really making them use AI tools?

Andy Bell had heard companies were forcing employees to use AI tools so spoke to developers to determine if that was the case and learned some horrors in the process.

Why is every media channel constantly blasting out Reform UK Party Ltd propaganda?

- The Green Party and Plaid Cymru have 4 seats each, the same as Reform.
- Sinn Féin have 7 seats.
- SNP have 9
- Independents have 21
- LibDems have 72.

Jeremy Corbyn:
- MP for 42 years
- Leader of the Opposition for 5 years

Be an active explorer, not a passive spectator!

@randahl Unfortunately I'm really struggling to hear you because the insect chirping is (to my hearing) significantly louder than your voice.

Could you please try to improve the signal-to-noise ratio in future videos?
