@SaftyKuma @arstechnica it’s a huge problem, but the solution is server-side anti-cheat, not client-side. But client-side is very desirable to companies like Tencent.

@KellicTiger @jblake @arstechnica Honestly, the only one of those I do completely agree with being class-leading is YouTube. There aren’t real competitors at that scale.
@bawonschild @arstechnica agreed. I stopped using it years ago for their shady practices and Tencent ownership. Sad to see so many people still using it, hopefully this will drive some away!
@anonstork @iFixit yeah...I’ve got an older Retina MacBook (the 12” one) and it doesn’t seem remotely worth the effort to get better battery life (still holds a charge!)
