The World Belongs To The Workers
Latest update on the DDOS attack from @brewsterkahle (Oct 11 @ 10:22am PT):
"The data is safe.
Services are offline as we examine and strengthen them. Sorry, but needed. @internetarchive staff is working hard.
Estimated Timeline: days, not weeks.
Thank you for the offers of pizza (we are set)."
Drew up vague plans for #Pittsburgh infratourism (tho I may break it up?).
- Start near CC/hotel
- Walk north across Allegheny on whichever bridge has best view
- Board T, ride Red Line thru downtown, then 30min south to where it rejoins Blue/Silver lines
- Take Blue/Silver north to see other ‘arm’. (I’m aware this is probably all boring suburb, but why not make a loop of it.)
- Hop off at Station Square, ride funicular/incline 🆙
- Walk along ridge to other funicular
- G2 BRT back from there.
Pittsburgh’s Golden Triangle is very walkable and many attractions are within walking distance from each other. This self-guided walking tour of Pittsburgh's Golden Triangle covers the highlights in architecture, history and culture.
The Fediverse has a video platform called PeerTube, you can follow PeerTube accounts from Mastodon and from podcast apps too.
If you want to publish your videos on PeerTube, I've done an extensive guide for this at:

Hopefully this guide answers questions video makers might have. Let me know if there's stuff that isn't answered.
