DevorppaA few people have wondered why the government did not act earlier on Robodebt and investigate the program’s lawfulness.
The answer is simple. Liberal and National members of parliament consider people who receive Social Security (other than Age Pensioners) are class enemies. The Liberal/National government from 2013-2022 was all about punishing their enemies and class enemies got special treatment.
Liberals and Nationals members of parliament fundamentally believe that no one should get anything for nothing …
… unless they are already rich and preferably donating to the party.
So the reason why they did nothing is … they simply didn’t care other than to make sure their class enemies were being punished and punished hard.

As part of a wave of layoffs, I got laid off from my backend development job last month as the company's financials I was working with have been steadily decreasing. I applied for another job shortly after, and after a month of interviews and an honestly great response from their team, at the last minute, they told me that they were focusing their hiring efforts away from the US and towards Singapore. With Calckey donations, I don't have enough money to pay for rent or groceries. DanielOn Wednesday, the doctors told my mate Yahn that he has three months to live, tops.
He's been sick with cancer since 2019, all through lockdown, and it's only in the last month that the doctors have told him "this is it, there's nothing more we can do."
Him and his wife have resisted starting a givealittle page, but this week has changed their mind. They want to enjoy their remaining time together.
