@sbb @crk5 Sounds similar to Epictetus's "Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few wants."

It's funny that I had not yet encountered it directly in Buddhism (appicchatā, apparently? TIL) but in retrospect it appears to have been steeped into everything else I had studied. Neat.
