It is done!
I wanted to do something different from what I usually do, so this is true 2D, contains no shooting or violence, and was made in about 15 hours (instead of the usual four years per game).

I have again been testing the idea of random debris from the crashed cargo ship as decorative objects. It could look nice and add some visual variation but it would be confusing to new players because so far all other non-terrain objects have a purpose. I don't know how to make it clear that the player is not supposed to do anything with them (expect perhaps use as temporary cover).
I guess it's best to just leave them out.
