Schon wieder hat die Bahn einen Prozess gegen ihre Kundenfeindlichkeit (unanfechtbar!) verloren: Die Bahn darf beim Kauf von Sparpreis-Tickets nicht mehr verpflichtend E-Mail-Adresse oder Handynummer verlangen. Das OLG Frankfurt entschied: Diese Praxis war rechtswidrig, da sie gegen die DSGVO verstößt. Die Daten sind für den Kauf nicht erforderlich und eine freiwillige Einwilligung lag nicht vor. Kund.innen können jetzt wieder ohne Angabe persönlicher Kontaktdaten Sparpreise buchen – online, am Automaten oder Schalter.

Before you buy on amazon, check if the product-company has their own website and order it there.

This way the shop gets the full price, and corporations have less investment.

Study: When experienced open-source developers used current AI tools, work took 19% longer to complete. In spite of which, the developers *thought* they were working *faster.*

It’s just one study, and they don’t claim anything beyond what they observed. Their results are not predictive. Still....

(There must be a name for the psychological trick we play on ourselves to believe we’re being more productive even when we’re considerably less so.)
