#WritersCoffeeClub Oct 17th — What is the biggest inspiration for your writing?

Survival, really. Broken family, traumatic background, you get it. I needed somewhere to dump all that. Also being a voracious reader, writing just made sense. And then I never stopped.

Dear Mr. Recruiter Man,

You have called me four times now. FOUR. TIMES. And it's always the same. You offer me a housekeeping job, I tell you I have no experience in housekeeping and advise what I actually need. You then promise to call me back with a relevant job, only to repeat this same conversation a week later.

No, I will not be a housekeeper--I suck at it and can barely keep my own house clean. I'd keep that job a week. Maybe. STOP. CALLING.

Sending audio to a podcast. I'm essentially a sound effect if they take it, but it's still fun. 🙂

Running my writer's group tonight (Thursday, the casual edition!), then immediately off for a week to help a friend, as one of the dogs and her husband have had concurrent joint surgery and neither are allowed to move around.

Meanwhile, I wanna tackle three flights of stairs and a steep hill just to take the garbage out like I want a hole in the head. Ugh.

At least life is busy?

Alja: Either the eyepatch or her multicolored eyes. Blue is her natural color, but one eye turned red as a reaction to her magic.

Rhyian: That he's male. After all, everyone knows doctors are always female.

Noriyn: Her scar. it goes from forehead to lips and is thick and wide, and the eye is blind. Plow accident when she was little.

Lyris: How gorgeous he is. He's an expert at hiding the scars.
