Aujourd’hui, j’ai débouché la canalisation d’évacuation d’eaux usées de la dépendance, qui était partiellement obstruée depuis le dernier gros orage.
(L’achat du Kärcher et de son accessoire débouche-canalisation de 15m était décidément très inspiré).
Je me délivre une médaille à moi-même.

I’ve been rewatching this footage and thinking on it. It’s the first time I’ve seen someone in space wearing non-western inspired attire. The image deconstructs a lot of things that up to now I had only been deconstructing in my imagination and stories or other stories.

Just wanted to voice my thoughts on this. I’m sure I’m not the only one thinking it. It reminds me of how westernized the very idea of space travel and exploration is.

Kid, who’s generally extremely fussy food-wise (doesn’t like mashed potatoes! What child doesn’t like mashed potatoes?) actually likes, a lot, the weird algae-based, beet-flavoured crisps I brought back from work¹.

Go figure.

¹ we always have extremely strange snacks in the office kitchen. Insect-based cereal bars, tree sap drinks, and more.
