Stop using AI, people. I don't care if it makes things easier for you. You're sucking up water, burning the planet, models were trained on stolen data, and you're making the rich even richer. And I didn't even list all of the issues with AI.
(for general reference, while this probably isn't the *last* straw, it is the most recent straw on a very, very large pile of straws that seems to be growing exponentially from day to day)

Affirmations:

It is okay that my boss edited my spreadsheet. I am handling it very well. I have not been sitting here manually breathing + rocking back and forth for the roughly 20 minutes since discovering this. I am being so normal about it, actually. I am the very picture of neurotypicality. I do not now-- nor have I ever-- felt an intense and unabating urge to gnaw through my work laptop with my regrettably small human teeth.

someone should invent a chore that is done permanently once you do the chore
C'mon, let me get in the tumble dryer. Just one cycle. One low heat cycle in the tumble dryer will fix me.

I have just awarded my partner the NFL Peace Prize for Todayβ„’. When asked for comment, she said "Thanks" and "Why?" and "Is this an internet thing?"

So humble 😍

Getting a "you've exceeded expectations" at a 6-month review is normal (I'm good at what I do; it's like, the only area where I can say that comfortably, but I am),

having that be followed-up with "so we're significantly increasing your pay"??? Absurd. Unthinkable. SO COOL.

being in the nonprofit world, i've had a lot of experience kicking ass at a job, only to watch the person after me start out making significantly more (usually with less experience / missing skills, which *I* get to train them on), which is like, good, for them, they should get paid! but also, why couldn't *I* get paid?
Work has been so bonkers, but! I'm getting a raaaise! Like a real heckin' raise! Like a 20% hourly rate increase + more hours! The past 6 months of 'aaaaagh' are actually going to pay off! :D
