People on FOSDEM: please discuss why the Mastodon software does not encrypt your user data and why it does not support end to end encryption for private messages. We need to stop using a software that is basically a re-creation of Email of the 90s before the Fediverse will experience its first "endless November" event. We can not establish a system that has such major privacy flaws and let the masses flock into this kind of unsecure infrastructure!
