Friendly reminder to Apple users, if your subscriptions suddenly get more expensive over the next couple months, it's probably not services or creators getting greedy. Apple is an insufferable bully about payments and is mandating a percentage of all subscriptions paid through their payment processing. Apple lost a court case against Epic, so now you can pay for things through alternative payments systems on the iPhone, but if you keep using Apple payment processing, they're going to try and make it look like the subscription is getting greedy. They're hoping services and creators will just eat the price hikes to not upset Apple users.
I doubt many services or creators will take that hit when Apple users can pay outside the App Store's greed.
