I was on a night train from Stockholm to #Narvik (and back a week later).

This was the @diningcar I expected: https://rail.cc/blog/nighttrain-stockholm-narvik#gallery1-41 . And I got this, but only on the way back (no photo, because it was a bit crowded in the morning). On the first ride there was only a small bar with no dining seats.

When going to Narvik, the train stopped in Abisko, because the power cable snapped in the mountain pass, near Sweden-Norway border. We were taken back to Kiruna for a free hotel and we arrived on the next day. SJ (the train company) has a very good customer support. I had no problem with rebooking the ticket and applying for a compensation.

I reanimated this old #android Samsung GT-S6310 (aka. Samsung Galaxy Young) without the battery, which was old and inflated.

In most languages, function arguments are evaluated prior to function invocation. This is not always true in YAQL. In YAQL, a function may declare a lazy argument. In this case, it is not evaluated and the function implementation receives a passed value as a callable or even as an AST, depending on how the parameter was declared. Thus in YAQL there is no special syntax for lambdas. foo($ + 1) may mean either "call foo with value of $ + 1" or "call foo with expression $ + 1 as a parameter". In the latter case it corresponds to foo(lambda *args, **kwargs: args[0] + 1) in Python. Actual argument interpretation depends on the parameter declaration.
