Organizations who do business with Europe, are you ready for June 28, 2025?

If you've prepared for this moment, the proverbial sky shouldn't fall on you. Else, you have tons of work ahead to make all your digital sites, apps, etc. EAA compliant.

It's really disheartening how much the internet has taken a step back in accessibility for epileptics. 5 years ago, the setting to turn off autoplay on videos in Firefox worked perfectly. Now, it's situational. 5 years ago, on Chrome, I could install extensions to stop autoplay and stop GIFs from animating. Now, none are supported because it's not "best practices". The internet is so much worse for epileptics now when it had been getting so good. It's so depressing.
I just stumbled across this hack for adding comments in JSON and there is no greater testament to human ingenuity and endurance in the face of adversity.

"In this rule, the [Justice] Department establishes technical standards for web content and mobile app accessibility to give public entities greater clarity in exactly how to meet their ADA obligations and to help ensure equal access to government services for individuals with disabilities."

Accessibility Myths

A small project debunking common accessibility myths.

I wrote a blog post on the 'check your answers pattern' used on GOV.UK.

Everybody knows they're good for making sure the information you get is accurate, but I wanted to talk in a bit more detail about an often overlooked secondary function we discovered. Giving the user breathing space in high stakes situations!

Lets talk sales, costs, failure demand and morals.
