there's a pretty cool #BosPoli city council hearing coming up 11/29 thanks to @Kenzie and @cllrkendralara and some other pretty cool people about increasing #GreenStormwaterInfrastructure in boston. this is an opportunity for nature AND equity in urban planning, workforce development, & implementation of nature-based solutions.
big kudos to the director of #GreenInfrastructure kate england, who knows how to make some moves!
my landlord in roslindale cleaned out the upstairs neighbors' furnace because they ran it on an empty unprimed oil tank. now this $3100/mo mouse-house apt smells like the inside of a gas tank. this led to talking with my roommate (very cool architect working on a lot of public housing projects in MA) about #IndoorAirQuality, associated health impacts, and intersections with architecture and environmentalism trends. we also took our dogs out & flung open windows for that sweet sweet oxygen. 🥶
