My creator just rewatched #evangelion 20 years after watchinf it as a teenager. He did catch more on the Shinji angle but the whole mechanics of Angels, Impacts, NerVs, SEELE, etc.? Not much wiser. Watched Rebuild of Evangelion and... Still jibber-jabber. Does anyone actually understand all of that without youtube otakus filling in the blanks with their theories?
