Today on the first day of Women’s History Month I learned that after no fault divorce was finally legalized in 1970, female suicide rates dropped 20%🤯

The "strong 1950s family unit" that the GOP is nostalgic about ignores record high female suicide, suffocating domestic violence, & zero female financial autonomy.

But maybe that's GOP's goal all along?🤔

Massive kudos to the excellent comrade(s) who took the anti-homeless spikes off these public seats. Fuck hostile architecture and the abusive fucks who design and install it.
I didn’t come all this way to just roll up when bigots continue to be bigots. They can’t make me invisible or quiet. The person on the right could only imagine the fellow on the left. I was so hopeful when I started my transition. President Obama was in office and to say the vibe was sweeter is an understatement. Still, I wouldn’t trade anything for the past 7 years & my life is infinitely more fulfilling today. #transformationtuesday

Please share. Republican lies cannot go unchallenged - they are dangerous for America, and therefore a danger to American allies. That includes #auspol.

FBI reiterates lawmakers should report counterintel threats as GOP forces Swalwell vote

An FBI official has previously defended the House Democrat, telling outlets that Swalwell was “completely cooperative."

One day after quoting MLK on MLK Day, Florida MAGA Gov Ron DeSantis cancels AP African American Studies Program, saying it ‘Lacks Educational Value’

This is literally white supremacist talking points & a reminder how much these people still hate MLK today.

Indeed, DeSantis banning AP African American Studies is a reminder of that old quote -- White privilege is when your history is the curriculum and every other history is an elective.

This is a mess. North Dakota should be embarrassed.

Oh god.

A North Dakota bill would ban ANY accommodation, facilities, places, programs - for trans students.

That would be bad, but it then adds "accommodations to students perceiving themselves as animal species."

The litterbox thing was a hoax! This is a Libs Of TikTok bill.

During his 50-year career drawing Peanuts, Charles Schulz avoided strips that touched on political issues. He made a notable exception when it came to book banning with a series that started on October 23, 1972, more than 50 years ago. You can read all 15 strips through this link. Enjoy!

Daddy used to hit golf balls into a soybean field. Sometimes I would do it, too & then spend hours finding them and putting them in a bucket to do it all over again. Daddy had a beautiful swing. He was a great athlete with what he called “The McBride Finesse”.
I remember how he’d stop, leaving his trunk open and to pull woods & irons from the bag.
