At Estella's exhibition we discovered her friend and benefactor Kathleen Goodfellow. Fellow Cumann na mBan member Kathleen wrote a book Three Tales of the Times about life under the Black & Tans. Independently wealthy, she supported The Dublin Magazine financially and offered Estella and Seumas a home for nominal rent. Estella painted her portrait several times (see 📷 from NG Ireland)
