Oh yeah had a euphoric realization while running from zombies today (Zombies!Run jogging app)

So I’ve said in the past that as a trans man, I really identify with the trope of a woman secretly pretending to be a man, or a character who everyone assumes is a man but who is actually a woman. Think Sheik, Mulan or Samus, or a knight the princess thinks is a normal dude knight but he’s actually a woman.

So like, that’s how I am a man. I am a woman who is a man.

And. I just realized that my preferred pronouns are actually he…and [she(secret)]

Like that. "She" is like. The secret background pronoun. "He" is what I present to the world. It is also as true as "she". If you can imagine a man who uses she/him, then you’re allowed to use “she” as a masculine pronoun for me. Not a feminine one.

If you can’t imagine a man using she/he, you only get to use he/him.
