#homecooking #growyourown #jam This year our fig tree, which I planted +- 10 years ago, is having its best ever yield. Today I made jam using 4kg of figs picked over 5 days. I wash, trim then freeze them each day.
19 small (8oz) jars and one pint jar. Enough for the family for at least a year or so.
Tonight’s ale is another IPA from Bold Monk. This one is ‘Shared Spirit’, a 6.5% lighter and very refreshing IPA.
The reason I post so many from Bold Monk is that they have a good menu and we enjoy eating there. Hard to resist picking up a few six-packs on the way out.
