Nothing says #DonaldTrump is on Epstein's client list more than #PamBondi in charge of Epstein's client list.

Hey do you like coffee? A friend of mine has started a small batch roaster company in Chicago.

I do not get any cut of proceeds, these are just great people and I'm sure everything is delicious thank you for your attention to this matter.

Lightly Roasted Specialty Coffee

Orbiter offers small-batch, light roast specialty beans. Bright, fruity, and complex flavors with minimal roast influence.

I’ve been quiet this week, as I’m at a conference in Ingelheim near Mainz.

That said, the conference is in a cloister surrounded by nice grounds, including flowers & meadows, & there are plenty of insects.

This woolly-bottomed marsh fly (Helophilus hybridus; Helle Sumpfschwebfliege in German) sat still long enough for me to get a phone picture.

Home tomorrow 🚄

The FBI warned Americans about Russian hackers attacking American infrastructure.

It won’t register until the hackers open flood gates to cause damage downstream or turn off power to heat homes this winter.

Trump admin fired the U.S. response team to counter those threats. Why?

Birthday Problem: In a group of 23 people, there's a 50% chance that two people share the same birthday.

This counterintuitive probability applies to software engineering:
- Hash collisions happen more often than expected
- Database ID collisions occur sooner than you think
- Cache key conflicts emerge with fewer entries than anticipated
- Bug report duplicates appear with smaller user bases

The lesson: when dealing with random events, our intuition about probability is usually wrong.

@VeroniqueB99 This is so good. It sums up my feelings. #Trump #fascist #netenyahu #warcriminal #gaza #Genocide #ICC arrest the fuckers.

@VeroniqueB99 As a citizen of a country not on this list I'd like to add an additional prayer:

May Palestinians, Israelis, and Americans bloody well vote for better leaders the next time they're allowed to vote 😠

@duncan_bayne @VeroniqueB99 As someone who voted for Kamala and Democrats down the entire ballot, I sure hope we make a better collective choice next time... if there is one.

@VeroniqueB99

it is long past time to stop letting men run things

and i'm not kidding

@samiamsam You're so right.
@VeroniqueB99 May everyone choose to think for themselves and delete #Meta
So that we can return to a connected human world.
Screw technology.
@arbres oh that's utopia my friend...
@VeroniqueB99 Unfortunately, if you're a democracy, the electorate is responsible for the leaders.
It does not look like neither the US citizens nor the Israeli mostly hate their leader, because these leaders were elected.
I do wish the voters in those countries to be safe. But I also wish that they would not vote for war-mongering authoritarians.
@madies you're not wrong (I'd add "elected and not impeached or ousted in any way")...
