Completed the Lake Sonoma 50 mile race yesterday. I can see why the tag line is “Relentless”, deceptively tough 10,000ft of climbing and the distance was almost 53 miles on Garmin.

More than 50 times around this track…. Few miles warm up, 8 at race pace and the last 2 trying for 10k pace but it wasn’t quite there.
Twenty miles today, 14-16 miles tomorrow. Then… taper time.
