Batch Win Installer v1.0 released!

From a defined list of software, Batch Win Installer will automatically install software on 64 bit #windows 10/11 x64 machine without prompts ; check what software is installed and offer to install and/or upgrade software ; scan program's websites to determine the latest version of the software available

Key changes :

* added checksums to configuration files. Installers are verified before the main menu is shown. The executables for wget and xidel are also verified each time Batch-Win-Installer is run.

* added preliminary support for #Windows11 for ARM processors. Installers are stored in either a ARM64 sub-folder or AMD64 sub-folder in the files folder. Yet to be tested formally on Windows 11 ARM though.

It’s a #batch file that uses two CLI tools, Wget and Xidel

Perhaps its a case of nobody caring about the details

The Trinidad and Tobago Coat of Arms (COA) has been in the news recently with the PM of T&T announcing that the three ships in the COA would be replaced by the steelpan.

However, it looks that the image shown around is one drawn by Wikipedian user Sodacan (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Sodacan) who judging from his Wikipedia page has drawn various coat of arms using Inkscape.

Not only shown around but many Trinidad and Tobago Government websites and in print insignia in front of Trinidad and Tobago Government offices have copied and reused "Sodacan" version of the Coat of Arms.

There are subtle changes from the "original" coat of arms and Sodacan's version , here's a GIF showing the original and Sodacan's version.

Edit #1 - after terminating the Dropbox service and then restarting, the issue appears to be resolved on one of the machines

(However I did restart the other machine twice.... so hopefully when I get access to the other machine, maybe this strange "bug" would be over)

Hmm..... a weird problem - MSI files that are synced in Dropbox on two Windows 11 machines have suddenly stopped working. When clicked on, Windows Installer gives a error message
"This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."

Initially I was wondering if the files were corrupt but if I copy the files to a folder outside of Dropbox, it opens normally so they don't seem corrupt.
