I went to see #Tocotronic in #Hamburg this week. This band has been with me since my youth and what can I say: it's incredible how great and relevant they still are after more than 30 years of band history.

Yesterday I used my Sunday off to visit the Kunsthalle #Hamburg. The #museum is always worth a visit. Whether for the great permanent #exhibition, which covers many art epochs, or the current temporary exhibition “Illusion”.

Tomorrow, Germany will elect a new parliament (Bundestag). Various demonstrations with over 1 million participants have taken place in recent weeks.
We will not be able to prevent a right-wing government, as democratic parties have now also adopted the views of the far right.
Nevertheless, the protests show that although there is no longer a majority in favour of a humane policy, the minority that still stands for such a policy is determined. We must actively work in the coming years to ensure that diversity and humanity remain a central aspect of our culture.
