@JanaDelBosco Hace tiempo fui a un espectáculo de comedia y la comediante preguntó cuánta gente del público iba o había ido a terapia, sorpresa sorpresa, la gran mayoría que levantaron la mano éramos mujeres.

Y otro punto que me sorprende que la mayoría de amigos (hombres cis) que conozco cuando han ido a terapia han preferido que fuese una terapeuta mujer.

@yoquese @JanaDelBosco además que es dificilísimo cortarlo... con mi pareja nos ha pasado, y le dejé bien en claro desde el principio que nadie puede adivinar sentimientos ni pensamientos, y tiene que existir el espacio de hablar y entendernos mutuamente. Con otros amigos chicos también hacemos ese trabajo, y con el tiempo parecen haber aprendido a base de pico y pala. Pero es AGOTADOR. Como una vez dijo una amiga: "Quiero una pareja, no un proyecto sociológico".

Yes I am aware that at least one instance keeps threatening to block us. But I have not seen anything that indicates support for your claim as it being "widely."

So I would be most grateful if you can point me to trustworthy sources, as it would really help me understand our situation better.

@EFreethought @davidgerard @libreoffice @tdforg Once defederated, those two instances do no longer talk, so no, migration to a defederated instance is not directly possible.
You could then try and find an intermediary, eg. migrate to a third party which federates with both instances, but no guarantees

@opiate @libreoffice @tdforg they keep bringing on alt-right mods, over and over, and not understanding that others don't really want to just put up with that when they could not.

so a lot of servers have put fosstodon on limited and if they don't shape up in the month a whole lot of defederation is about to happen

remember, fosstodon is the server that put in a firm English-only posting requirement then kicked a poster for writing in Irish. which is clearly completely incompatible with LibreOffice already. tho fosstodon did walk that one back after the massive backlash that obviously followed.

@nshiell Well, that depends on what you mean by "new". The @libodesign team created the tabbed user interface a couple of years ago and is working on improvements. Or do you mean something else?

@libreoffice @tdforg my tired old laptop that has LibreOffice is not able to make leap to Win11. This is a good thing as put it to the other half that it needs be replaced with one running Linux as well!
