Pretty chuffed to hear from the organisers that my "How not to use AI" preconference workshop helped set the tone of the following days, and that scholarly values and the benefits of slowing down were recurring conversation topics

If your conference or grad school is looking for a workshop format that avoids the tired marketing cliches and productivity narratives around "AI", I'd be happy to do a rerun (time permitting) https://ideophone.org/how-not-to-use-ai-workshop/

Seems British PM tenures could be effectively stated using a unit derived from lowest common denominator, so recent tenures are :

Keir Starmer: 15 Trusses
Rishi Sunak: 13 Trusses
Liz Truss: 1 Truss
Boris Johnson: 23 Tr
Theresa May: 23 Tr
David Cameron: 46 Tr
Gordon Brown: 21 Tr
Tony Blair: 76 Tr
John Major: 48 Tr

Just in case anyone needs a bit of encouragement: It has always been and is still perfectly reasonable to fix bugs without LLMs. I found 7 WiFi driver bugs this evening and wrote fixes for each of them. With no more than vim-classic, grep, and debug prints.

You have to assume this *has* worked somewhere, at least once:
