Musk generously offers to pay TSA agent salaries! If only there was a system where we could take a portion of people's income to fund these critical government programs. And maybe that portion could be a percentage based on that person's ability to pay. Idk am I crazy for thinking of a system like that?

I stopped by a rest stop on my way to DC and saw a row of cars parked on the side. It was very unusual since there was plenty of parking. But as I slowed down, I realized that these cars were covered with blankets. People were sleeping in them. This wasn't just one or two cars but at least a dozen.
Housing prices are ludicrous. People should not be sleeping in their cars especially in the cold.

It's disturbing to me just how much salt we've thrown at this last storm. I wish there was a better incentive for companies to switch to safer ice melt but so long as dollars can be saved, it's always going to be whatever is cheapest.

I'm beginning to think that our country's dependency and use of #creditcard privatizes commerce. I love the protections that credit cards provide but I'm realizing just how much power and data our credit card companies have.
