If you want to, you can set Mastodon to automatically delete your posts after a certain time period.

1. Log in through your server's website
2. Go to ⚙️ Preferences > Automated Post Deletion
3. Tick box marked "automatically delete old posts" and choose time period after which posts will be deleted
4. Choose exceptions (which posts to keep even if they are older than the time period)
5. If you are sure, click "Save changes"

If you change your mind, untick the box and click "Save Changes".

I finally got myself an M2 iPad Pro so I could add support for Stage Manager on external displays to Textastic.

The photo shows Textastic's code editor, a separate file transfer window and a Safari window for web preview on the external display, and an SSH terminal and another editor window on the iPad Pro's display. All working at the same time.

If you're wanting to see trending posts, hashtags and news items on Mastodon, try browsing the Explore tab.

➡️ Access it on your server's website by logging in and clicking # Explore

➡️ Access it on the official apps by clicking the magnifying glass 🔍 and leaving the search box empty

The trending posts are based on number of recent boosts, which posts that lots of people have shared on here in in the last few hours.

Trending news is based on sources approved by your server admin.
