I wrote a simple Firefox extension some time ago for myself. It copies the current URL as a Markdown link, and if there's text selected, it copies that too. I use it all the time to paste links into my notes. Maybe someone will find it useful. I know there are many extensions like this, but they all seem too complicated — this one is just a single button, and doesn't require extra permissions.

Here is some news about I Write Like: its new feature allows you to preserve single line breaks in the preview. You can use the toggle and type your poem in a neat column without any extra Markdown. The blog post shows how it looks.
Also, I loved the poem used in the example.

At certain Dock size Tahoe's icons look like Nokia's Symbian icons.
@nikitonsky I think I only used it once — it's very confusing, but basically, the buttons navigate the styles in the document. You can then select text with the style or apply one to selected text.
