@wineisconfusing it’s an interesting and complicated area. But we do need to make more of a move away from glass (and I say that as someone who currently mainly buys wine in glass bottles).
@wineisconfusing I don’t know about buzzwords but I think the next thing we all need to talk about is sustainable packaging in wine.

Doing a quick store cupboard stock-take in advance of making a Christmas cake has revealed that I have about 9 years’ worth of sultanas, half of which is three years past its best before date. I need to find more uses for dried fruit.
@megmaker @wineisconfusing yes, I find the division between progressive and reactionary voices in wine is clearer than any difference between, for example, generations.

So #wine folks and #WineWriters I wrote a piece about a woman who intersects wine making, saving indigenous food, Russian imperialism/occupation, and tourism to address sexism in the #WineIndustry and specially #femicide in her community.
