Is anyone here using Lemmy with their Mastodon account? Should I even bother creating a new Lemmy account? I like the idea of the Fediverse, but I feel like the concept would kind of fall apart if I end up having to create a new account for each app again.

I've finally deactivated my personal Twitter account. The mislabeling of certain news sources as 'state-funded media' is a step too far for me. This in addition to boosting Russian propaganda on his platform.

The current owner of Twitter claims to value free speech, but in reality, only considers his preferred speech free while undermining or outright censoring those inconvenient for him.

Despite the work the current owner of Twitter has done with the advancement of electric vehicles, space travel, and satellite internet, I believe he is still a net negative to society.

Me quitting Twitter (still have a side-gig related account, for now) is a small step from a relative nobody to protest the irresponsible way the current Twitter owner is managing his company and the widespread consequences of his mismanagement he is all too happy to ignore.

The term “Woke” originated within the Black community to mean someone whose consciousness was raised regarding social, racial justice and equality. White conservatives co-opted it and use it as a racist dog-whistle. Next phase? Trying to profit from it. Same playbook, different day.

I just launched a utility to help format Tailwind CSS classes for readability while minimizing whitespace rendered in the DOM. This utility has support for inline C-style comments within the class lists to help document complex styles. View this project on GitHub and install via NPM. I hope someone finds this helpful.
