I’ve never been to Doha, but references to World Cup “fan zones” make me go “hmm…” A great city absorbs visitors into its (hopefully fine-grained) fabric. If Boston hosted the World Cup, the whole town would be the fan zone and it would be amazing. #WorldCup #urbanism
It occurred to me yesterday that I'm going on the bird site these days in the same way I slow down to gawk at a burning car on the shoulder of the highway.
Not sure what to do with Mastodon yet (same could be said for all social media) but so far I’ve found the engagement to be so very much higher, friendlier, and more personal, than the bird site. So I’ve got that going for me, which is nice. #Caddyshack
