It's #miniaturemonday again! This time we have a #warhammer40k #killteam model. Only doing one for some object side lighting practice. I learned from my first OSL model, but I definitely made some mistakes with fire temperature. I made the feet a bit darker as I was treating the body as the hot a hottest source, but then painted the ground as if the entire bottom of the model was the same temperature. Could have come out much worse, so I'll chalk it up as a win and learn from it.
Friend of mine dropped some models and needed them fixed and rebased. One of the bases got trashed really badly. Decided to completely replace it instead of fix it. Original had the Cron stepping over a marine corpse. Busted out some unused bits and reworked the idea. Left plenty of space for guts to get added on afterwards.
I missed two #miniaturemonday in a row. As penance. I'll upload two models that I painted probably 5 years ago. My only regret is that I don't have my first Tau from over a decade ago. Hold onto a few of your first models. You'll want to look back on them someday.
Getting some poorhammer terrain going. Not bad for a first pass. Looking forward to spraying it down tomorrow.
I don't know why I chose projects to torture myself with, but here we are! Another gobbo alchemist for a commission. Learned some lessons for small scale water effect application. I had some leakage problems which caused me some headache. I'm overall okay with it now that it's done and it off the dam I had around it.

Finished up my second Ork for KT. The first Ork didn't have enough pop, so I aimed for Saturday morning cartoon in the grim dark future. I think I'm going to stick with these colors for the whole army. I hope I don't hurt anybody's eyes with this one.
Bought the KT Ork box a while back and decided the crane was too boring. Since I had a spare walker from my Start Collecting box as well, I decided to orkify things. Probably won't be painted until the weather warms up since I want to air brush this one.
Note: The putty under the mech isn't permanent. I just didn't want to epoxy and glue it until it's painted.
