It's official, @coyotebroad and I will attend the Touratech-USA Rally in June. She will be doing a presentation on "Doing Good While Traveling". Hope to see you there.
Finally have a photo of me and @coyotetrips riding our motorcycles. This is us in the Cove Palisades area of Oregon. It's taken by the passenger of a rider in front of us.

Motorcycle trip in Guatemala on rented bikes with photos, tips and info, by Stefan Dietz from Germany

Together @coyotebroad and I took nearly 1400 photos on our Guatemala motorcycle adventure trip. I selected about half of them and posted them with descriptions on my Flickr page:

2024 Guatemala Motorcycle Trip

We spent 2 weeks in Guatemala and rode motorcycles for 11 days. We rented 250 cc motorcycles in Antigua. While a little low powered, due to their low weight they are perfect for handling the extremely windy and steep roads in Guatemala.

That is @coyotetrips in one of the pools of Semuc Champey in #Guatemala. We had one pool to ourselves for many minutes, and then shared this one with a delightful French woman. Absolutely magical. Very glad not to have ridden the motors here - it rained a lot last night and the unpaved parts of the road were super slick, plus the last turn I never could have made. #travel #motorcycle
@dHeinemann I bought a somewhat cheap drone to take on trips. I fooled around with it for a few weeks until I found a tree that was taller than the drone's height limit (30m) - it didn't survive the ground impact.
I decided that I'm not smart enough to have a drone and not rich enough to keep buying new ones.
I've managed to continue holding on to the belief that I can live in the US, have safe headgear, and never actually need to use that damn D-ring fastnere #motorcycle #BikeTooter

Happy Holidays and many adventures in 2024!
